About

Ahmad Fikri Asyraf Zaharudin is a 29-year-old skilled researcher and academically qualified educator in the areas of entrepreneurship, family business, and management. Interestingly, he is almost a full-fledged product of UNIRAZAK — awarded with a Foundation in Business Administration certificate in 2015, graduated with a Bachelor of Business Management (Entrepreneurship) (Hons) in 2016, and a Master of Business Administration (Entrepreneurship) in 2020. He was the recipient of the Best Academic Award for Bachelor of Business Management (Entrepreneurship) on 5th November 2016, at the UNIRAZAK’s 16th Convocation. Also, he was part of the undergraduate team that went all the way to the United States of America, representing the university and the country, at the Global Family Enterprise Case Competition (FECC) 2015, annually organized by the University of Vermont (UVM). Together with his teammates – both undergraduates and postgraduates – they brought back home the Team Spirit Award.

Over the years after he graduated in November 2016, he ventured into microbusinesses, advisory, and consultancy, and even undertook a top managerial position before he decided to pursue his postgraduate studies due to his utmost passion for entrepreneurial research and education. As he began his postgraduate journey, concurrently, his career in academia began as well. From one semester to another, he worked with UNIRAZAK as a teaching assistant, project assistant, and research-cum-publication assistant on a project basis. Despite all the responsibilities at hand, he managed to finish his master’s degree, majoring in entrepreneurship and family business with a 3.93 CGPA in June 2020. He had also co-authored a few case studies published and presented at international and global conferences since then. Today, he is a lecturer AND a program director of the Bachelor of Business Management (Entrepreneurship) and Bachelor of Business Administration (Insurance) under the Bank Rakyat School of Business, Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship (BRSBITE) of UNIRAZAK.
