You shall be responsible for the following scope of tasks and matters. The list, however, is not meant to be exhaustive as the University may review the scope from time to time in order to ensure the administration and welfare of the student are conducted in the most efficient manner.
- Collaborate with faculty to create engaging learning environments aligned with learning goals.
- Provide pedagogical training through workshops and resources on online teaching, LMS usage, course design, and instructional technology.
- Offer instructional design support to faculty, both individually and in teams, for developing course materials and transitioning face-to-face courses to hybrid or online formats.
- Contribute to professional development workshops and symposia related to course design, online teaching, and technology-enhanced instruction.
- Participate in discovery meetings, conduct interviews, and translate performance needs into concrete learning interventions.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to design fit-for-purpose learning, aligned to course learning strategies and ensure adult learning theory is applied.
- Create instructional content such as design documents, storyboards, prototypes, and course materials, maintaining high quality and adherence to standards.
- Develop documentation, templates, style guides, and technical specifications to guide the course design process.
- Assist in designing curriculum-level learning systems and implement evaluation strategies to measure the impact of learning solutions.
- Provide input into work plans, estimating timeframes for designing and delivering learning solutions.
