Programme Overview

This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of psychology's
fundamental principles and theories. Our curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of students
interested in pursuing a career in psychology and those who wish to further their education.
The programme is structured to cover the key areas of psychology, including developmental,
abnormal social, and cognitive psychology. Students will also engage in hands-on research and
fieldwork, which will help them gain practical experience in the field. Some popular electives include
Industrial and Organisational Psychology, Educational Psychology and Counseling Psychology.

Entry Requirements

STPM

  • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C
    (GPA 2.00) in any two (2) subjects; OR

 

STAM

  • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid; OR

 

MATRICULATION
• A Certificate in Matriculation or Foundation with a minimum Cumulative Grade
  Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00 out of 4.00; OR

 

Diploma

• Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in any field with at least CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00; OR
• A Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia
  (DLKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) subjected to Higher Education
  Provider UNIRAZAK’s Senate/Academic Board’s approval. The HEPs are required
  to conduct screening and provide appropriate bridging courses in Mathematics
  and Science; OR
• An Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF) in the relevant fields with at least CGPA of
  2.00 out of 4.00; OR

 

OTHER 

• Other relevant or equivalent qualifications, experience and requirements
  accepted by the UNIRAZAK’s Senate.
• Possess an Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL A) for admission.

Notes:
• A credit in Mathematics and Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ General Science/
  Applied Science at SPM level or equivalent qualifications.


• Can be waived should any other higher qualifications contain Mathematics and
  Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ General Science/ Applied Science subjects with an
  equivalent/higher achievement.


• Those without a pass/credit in Mathematics and/or Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/
  General Science/ Applied Science at SPM level or equivalent can be admitted but
  are required to attend special enhancement course(s). These special
  enhancement courses should be SPM equivalent, remedial in nature. Students
  must pass/credit the Mathematics and Biology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ General
  Science/ Applied Science enhancement

 

> International Applicants

• A minimum score of Band 5.0 in the International English Language Testing
  System (IELTS)*; OR
• A minimum score of 40 for an Internet Based Total (iBFT) for the Test of English
  as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)*; OR
• A minimum score of 7.5 for TOEFL Essentials (online); OR
• A minimum score of High B1 (154) in Linguaskill Test; OR
• A minimum score of 47 in Pearson Test of English (PTE); OR
• A minimum score of High B1 (154) in Cambridge English Qualifications and Tests;
  OR
• A minimum score Band 3.5 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET); OR
• Successful attainment of High B1 (154) in CEFR aligned exams by Cambridge
  English Qualification conducted by the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE).

Conditional offer letter will be issued to an international student who has not met
the English Proficiency Requirement
