The Diploma in Psychology at UNIRAZAK is a dynamic and practical programme designed for students who want to explore the world of psychology before advancing to undergraduate studies or entering the workforce. This programme provides a strong foundation in psychological theories, research methods, and professional skills that prepare graduates for a wide range of future pathways.
Students will gain a solid understanding of core psychological principles and will be exposed to both fundamental and applied areas of psychology, including human behaviour, mental health, learning, motivation, and social dynamics. The curriculum is carefully structured to build critical thinking, effective communication, and scientific research skills—equipping students to analyse real-life challenges with clarity and confidence.
The programme also emphasises the development of practical problem-solving abilities. Graduates will be trained to apply psychological knowledge to evolving issues in education, workplace environments, healthcare, and everyday life, with a focus on innovation, creativity, and professional decision-making.
In addition, the Diploma in Psychology instils strong ethical values and social responsibility. Students learn to approach diverse communities with sensitivity and respect, guided by ethical principles and the professional code of conduct expected in psychology.
