On Friday, 2nd April 2021, YABhg. Tun Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid welcomed the Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNIRAZAK) delegation for a courtesy visit at the Institut Kefahaman Islam Malaysia (IKIM), Kuala Lumpur.

The courtesy visit was led respectively by the Chief Executive Officer of Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, En. Amil Izham Hamzah and the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Datin Paduka Dr. Samsinar Md. Sidin.

They were accompanied by Chief Operating Officer, En. Mohamed Fairuz Mohamed Noor as well as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Zulkifflee Mohamed together with other UNIRAZAK delegates.

The visit was a gesture of appreciation to YABhg. Tun Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid for continuing to play the important role as the Chancellor of UNIRAZAK.

YABhg. Tun Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid welcomed the UNIRAZAK delegates and expressed his gratitude for the continuation to explore possible opportunities in various aspects for the University.

He appreciated UNIRAZAK’s commitment in striving to attain the University’s core values in order to create positive changes for society.

Among topics discussed during the meeting include strategising in attaining more international accreditation from recognised bodies as well as necessary continuous efforts in providing programmes that contribute to nation-building such as e-governance and producing high-quality graduates in education that could practice mindfulness in teaching.

The implementation of these strategies is in line with Malaysia’s plan to move towards developing the digital economy in 2025, thus helping UNIRAZAK in becoming one of the most prestigious universities in Malaysia.

Towards the end of the meeting, tokens of appreciation were exchanged and both parties expressed their hope for UNIRAZAK’s further achievements.
