The course examines the purpose, structure, and methods, and curriculum of various early childhood education models; including family-cantered, Waldorf approach, Montessori education, Head Start program, constructivist perspective, High/Scope Curriculum, Project Approach, Developmental-Interaction Bank Street Approach, Reggio Emilia Approach, Islamic approach to early childhood education.

• Discuss the purpose of curriculum model in early childhood education
• Synthesize the structure of curriculum model of early childhood education
• Design research to improve methods of teaching and learning in early childhood education curriculum
• Explain various models of early childhood education models orally and/or in writing
• Apply the skills achieves in everyday life and handling various challenging situations in education
