This course eequips students with knowledge and skills in identifying different types of special needs, help students to understand the children and how to handle them. Teachers are exposed to learning experiences related to planning and implementing instructional strategies to cater for different learning needs.

• Diagnose and discuss different types of special need children
• Reflect and share on detecting and handling the various challenges related to children with special needs
• Conduct a case study related to the challenges in handling children and managing children with special needs in order to improve policies based on future needs
• Analyze the findings of the research
