The OPKIM IPT @ Pahang 2024 programme, a joint initiative by the Pahang Chief Minister’s Office, UNIRAZAK, and UMPSA, concluded on 21 July 2024. Held in Felda Seroja Jengka 18, Maran, from 18 July to 21 July, the four-day programme focused on community development through religious, educational, and patriotic activities.
Through collaborative activities, UNIRAZAK and UMPSA students built strong ties with local primary and secondary school students and the community. Dato’ Sri Syed Ibrahim bin Syed Ahmad, the EXCO for Islamic Religious Affairs, Rural Development, and Pahang Indigenous Affairs, officially opened the event. The Majlis Mahabbah Rasulullah SAW added a spiritual dimension to the occasion.
The highlight of OPKIM IPT was the “Keluarga Angkat” programme, where students living with local families to better understand the community’s lifestyle. OPKIM also provided essential supplies and RM3,200 in cash to 40 elderly and chronically ill residents. The programme ended with a ceremony attended by Pahang’s Chief Police Officer, YDH. CP Dato’ Sri Yahaya bin Othman.
Aiming to cultivate leadership and community service among graduates, OPKIM hopes to continue making a positive impact.
