Synopsis

We now live in “the age of entrepreneurship”. Obviously, the amount of entrepreneurial activity the world over is at unprecedented levels. The age of entrepreneurship is defined by much more than an increase in activity. It represents a fundamental change in our way of thinking about business, life and the environments in which we find ourselves. This course suggests that entrepreneurship occurs in varying contexts, degrees and amounts, and that environments can be created in ways that heighten the level of entrepreneurship and behavior. In this course, students will discover the relevance for entrepreneurial thinking, doing and being.

Learning Outcomes

  • Recognise entrepreneurship theories, entrepreneurial traits, process and cognition.
  • Discuss various contexts and application of entrepreneurship.
  • Demonstrate entrepreneurial intensity and culture in class activities.
