Synopsis

The course will expose students with the principle of State and Local authority’s taxation. The focus on the course is on Rates, assessment and the Land taxes. The course will closely refer to the Local Authorities act and the Land Laws.

Learning Outcomes

Describe the practices of Local Authorities and the state taxes in Malaysia.
Illustrates on state taxes.
Discuss the relevant rules and laws on states taxes.
