Description

The Education Counselor is a dynamic, results-oriented "hunter" responsible for driving student recruitment through a mix of digital influence and direct sales. Unlike traditional administrative roles, this position requires a high-energy individual who acts as the digital "face" of ATUR. The primary goal is to identify, engage, and enroll students into various skills programs ranging by leveraging social media platforms and live engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Content & Live Engagement:
    • Host regular "Live" sessions on platforms like TikTok and Instagram to present ATUR’s unique value propositions, such as the 70% practical learning model.
    • Create and edit viral-style short-form videos to showcase program benefits and career milestones.
    • Build and maintain an online community by responding to inquiries in real-time to convert viewers into qualified leads.

  • Active Student "Hunting":
    • Proactively identify potential candidates through digital outreach in community groups, school leaver forums, and local networks.
    • Perform consultative counseling to help prospects understand program pathways.
    • Manage the full enrollment cycle to meet specific intake targets.
    • Convert leads into registered students to ensure ATUR reaches its sustainable revenue goals.
    • Provide administrative support for the enrollment process, ensuring all regulatory compliance and documentation are met.

Requirements

Key Competencies & Skills

  • Exceptional "on-camera" personality with the ability to lead engaging live streams and capture audience attention.
  • Strong "hunter" mindset with a proven ability to close sales and meet strict recruitment KPIs.
  • Skilled in using marketing tools including CapCut for video editing.

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in sales, digital marketing, or education counseling with a focus on lead generation.
  • Familiarity with the Malaysian TVET landscape, including JPK (Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran) and PTPK funding, is a significant advantage.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Melayu and English is essential to communicate effectively across diverse regional demographics.
