The course will focus upon pertinent areas in Financial Management such as the time value of money, capital budgeting basics, capital structure, managing short and long term assets. The course will explore and examine the application of financial management concepts, theories and practices in business organisations.

• Ability to explain the fundamental concepts of financial management, and have comprehensive knowledge on the mathematical calculations in risk and return
• Ability to solve problems associated with compound interest, time value of money, annuities, amortization, equity and bond valuation
• Ability to Identify the fundamental concept of managing current liabilities, its sources and calculate the cost of short term credit.
