Synopsis

This course provides students a grounding knowledge on several areas of information systems including information system elements; basically, the hardware and software application. It also equips students with theoretical knowledge in programming, analysis, numbering systems and networking concepts in computer systems.

Learning Outcomes

Discuss basic concepts and terminology of information technology.
Describe concepts of computers and their operations.
Identify issues related to information security.
