The course introduces to students the importance of an effective Logistics and Supply Chain Management system in helping organizations define and achieve long-term and short-term Logistics and Supply Chain goals. It explains and reinforces the concept that Logistics and Supply Chain Management is not a one-time event, but an ongoing process of planning, facilitating, assessing, and improving individual and organizational performance by providing effective Logistics. Attention will be given to the performance measurement in all Logistics and Supply Chain investments. This course takes into consideration while providing effective Logistics the relationship between cognition, behavior, and result of the various supply chains.

• Discuss the importance of Logistics and Supply Chain Management and how organizational strategies affect Logistics and Supply Chains.
• Apply various approaches in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
• Demonstrate different methods to facilitate Logistics and SC by linking initiatives based on the performance of individuals as well as groups.
