The course will provide students with the ability to analyze a range of management accounting problems and issues that face both the organization and the individuals who manage them, and develop workable solutions. This entails understanding; (1) the language and mechanics of costs accounting techniques (2) the economic basis of management accounting techniques and their role in resource allocation decisions and performance evaluation and (3) issues that arise in applying cost/management accounting techniques.

• Ability to integrate accounting information to carry out the planning, controlling, and decision-making responsibilities
• Ability to interpret the concepts, practices and emerging issues in management accounting
• Ability to assist business operations by applying management accounting tools.
