The course introduces to students the importance of an effective Managing Virtual Projects system in helping organizations define and achieve long-term and short-term Virtual Projects goals. It explains and reinforces the concept that Managing Virtual Projects is not a one-time event, but an ongoing process of planning, facilitating, assessing and improving individual and organizational performance by providing Virtual Projects. Attention will be given to the performance measurement in all Project investments. This course takes into consideration while providing Virtual Projects the relationship between cognition, behaviour and result of the various Virtual Projects.

• Discuss the importance of Managing Virtual Projects and detail how organizational strategies are translated into Projects.
• Apply methods to facilitate Virtual Projects by linking initiatives based on the performance of individuals as well as groups
• Identify how Virtual Projects are implemented to facilitate growth in revenues, assets, and market share.
