The course introduces to students the importance of an effective Operational Risk Management system in helping organizations define and achieve long-term and short-term Operational Risk mitigation goals. It explains and reinforces the concept that Operational Risk Management is not a one-time event, but an ongoing process of planning, facilitating, assessing, and improving individual and organizational performance in reducing Operational Risk. Attention will be given to the performance measurement in terms of risk reduction in all Operational spheres. This course takes into consideration while providing Operational Risk mitigation techniques the result of the various Operational risk control measures.
