This course is to impart knowledge on concepts and basic principles in traditional project planning and development as well as build awareness of the scope of modern project management and its relevance in the contexts of economics, institutional and national development.

• Describe principles of project planning and development.
• Demonstrate effective communication in discussing win-win project management negotiation techniques.
• Display various tools of project planning to the relationship between economic, social, political and environmental processes in project preparation.
• Report types of programme results by using appropriate evaluation techniques.
