This course focuses on understanding theories and strategies that address the needs of a diverse population that compose today’s classrooms in the school systems. Included in this course will be diversity issues, planning techniques, effective teaching and learning strategies.

• Discuss concepts of students’ diversity and its implication for effective teaching and learning.
• Plan and execute a lesson based on active learning strategies.
• Plan and execute a lesson based on individualised learning strategies.
• Conduct and share a case study on the effect of e-learning approaches to student learning.
