This course is designed to introduce the subject of Zakat and to help students appreciate that Zakat is not only an Islamic obligation but also within the ambit of financial planning. Basic knowledge of taxation and how taxes are administered in Malaysia are also being cultured and how it intertwined with zakat obligation for Muslim.

• Evaluate individual client’s zakat and tax applicable on wealth at personal and business level.
• Estimate zakat and tax applicable on individual with employment income and individual with business income, as well as the repercussion of tax default.
• Display personal skills in presenting client's zakat and tax assessment 's recommendation.
