In a significant step toward strengthening academic cooperation and expanding global outreach, UNIRAZAK has formalised a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA) in Brunei. The agreement was signed by UNIRAZAK Vice Chancellor, YBhg. Professor Datin Paduka Dr. Samsinar Md. Sidin, and UNISSA Rektor, Dato’ Seri Setia Dr. Haji Norarfan Haji Zainal, marking a pivotal moment for both institutions in fostering mutual growth and innovation.
The partnership encompasses a wide range of collaborative initiatives, including student exchange programmes, joint workshops, advanced training sessions, and collaborative research projects. Both universities will engage in shared academic programmes, staff exchanges for both academic and administrative personnel, and the exchange of scholarly publications. This collaboration aims to promote cross-border knowledge sharing and drive academic excellence, enhancing the global reputation of both institutions.
Adding further significance to the alliance, YBhg. Professor Datin Paduka Dr. Samsinar Md. Sidin has been invited as an honoured guest at UNISSA’s convocation ceremony, highlighting the depth of this partnership. This collaboration underscores UNIRAZAK’s commitment to expanding its global presence and forging transformative academic partnerships that benefit students, faculty, and the academic community at large.
