Programme Overview

The UNIRAZAK Bachelor in Accounting (Honours) programme is designed to provide opportunity to the students to complete
professional qualification during the three-year programme. In addition, other professional bodies such as CIMA, ACCA and
CPA Australia grant exemption upon completing the programme.

Entry Requirements

STPM

  • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent,
    with a minimum of Grade C+ (GP 2.33) in two subjects; OR

 

STAM

  • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of
    Jayyid (good); OR

 

Diploma

• A pass in Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with minimum of CGPA of 2.50; OR

• A pass in Matriculation/Foundation qualification or its equivalent with a
   minimum CGPA of 2.50; OR

• Diploma in Accounting fields (Level 4, MQF) or equivalent with a
  minimum CGPA of 2.50. Candidates with a CGPA below 2.50 but more
  than 2.00 may be admitted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment;
  OR

• Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia
   (DVM) in Accounting fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subjected to
   UNIRAZAK’s Senate/ Academic Board’s approval; OR

• Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia(DLKM) in Accounting fields with
   a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subjected to UNIRAZAK’s Senate / Academic
   Board’s approval; OR

•  Possess an Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF) in accounting or related
   field with a least a CGPA of 2.50; OR

•  Other relevant and equivalent qualifications recognised by the
    Malaysian Government.

AND a credit in:
i. Credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; AND
ii. MUET Band 3.0 or equivalent (OR Credit in English at SPM level).

OTHER 

• Other relevant or equivalent qualification, experience and requirement
accepted by the UNIRAZAK’s Senate/competent authority in Malaysia.
• Possess an Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL A) for
admission.

Note:
i. Candidates without credit in Mathematics at SPM level and/or without
MUET Band 3.0 or equivalent/ without credit in English at SPM level
need to take and pass the enhancement Mathematics and/or English
subject that equivalent to the SPM level. The enhancement subject
must be offered in first semester or before enrolment with conditional
offer.


ii. Students from Matriculation/ Foundation, its equivalent or higher
qualification can be exempted from taking enhancement Mathematics
and English, provided that the Mathematics and English offered at that
programme level is equivalent/ more than the requirement specified
for this level.

> International Applicants

• Achieve a minimum of Band 3.5 in MUET or equivalent to CEFR (High
  B1).
• If a student does not meet this requirement, the UNIRAZAK’s Senate
   must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student’s
   proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the programme.

 

> Note

Conditional offer letter will be issued to an international student who has
not met the English Proficiency Requirement.

The Bachelor in Accounting (Honours) programme requires a total of 127 credit hours to be completed within 3 years.
