This course explores the areas of social entrepreneurship education that supports children's self-sufficiency, creativity, empathy, rational thinking, and entrepreneurship skills. This course extends knowledge and skills in management for planning, organizing and coordinating early childhood education services. As leadership and management are often inherently linked, this course articulates the different dimensions of management concepts in early childhood similar to the management found in small-business enterprises. A range of responsibilities in early childhood settings will be explored such as systems, records and files, human and financial resources management, organizational skills and understanding the policy and legislative regulations for early childhood services.

• Discuss the quality management of childcare centres and preschools
• Discuss the financial management of childcare centres and pre-schools
