The Student Welfare and Mobility Unit (SWMU) at UNIRAZAK is committed to supporting students in every stage of their university journey. The unit provides welfare services to promote student well-being, including special assistance for students at risk in academics, while also creating opportunities for global exposure through mobility programmes such as exchanges and cultural activities. In addition, SWMU serves as the main support centre for international students, offering guidance to ensure a smooth and enriching experience.

The unit focuses on four main areas:

1. Student Welfare

SWMIU is committed to supporting the overall well-being of students by creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive campus environment. The unit provides assistance through:

• Welfare support services such as counseling referrals, financial aid guidance, and academic assistance.
  
  
• Students at Risk Programme, designed to identify and support students who may be struggling academically, emotionally, or personally. Tailored interventions, mentoring, and continuous follow-up are provided to help students get back on track and succeed in their studies.
  
  
• Initiatives that foster a sense of belonging and inclusivity, ensuring that both local and international students feel supported throughout their journey at UNIRAZAK.
  
  

2. Mobility Programmes

The unit coordinates a wide range of outbound and inbound mobility programmes to broaden students’ horizons and expose them to global learning environments. These include:

• Student Exchange Programmes with partner universities.
  
  
• Short-term courses and summer programmes for academic and cultural enrichment.
