Prof Reyasudin is currently serving as the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation) at UNIRAZAK, where he leads efforts to enhance the university’s research ecosystem. This includes developing a comprehensive research portal, strategizing to increase publications and grants, and fostering meaningful industry collaborations. In addition, he is also the Senior Director of URIMPACT, a dedicated business unit that leverages AI and technology to enhance operations and drive innovation. He oversees initiatives in digital marketing, content creation, research, intellectual property, digital apps, and business analytics, while managing projects, connecting stakeholders, and implementing high-impact, technology-driven solutions.
He is Professor of Artificial Intelligence and the AI Projects and Data Science Lead, with over 14 years of experience in both academia and industry. His areas of specialization include artificial intelligence, data analytics, computing, and engineering, with domain expertise in healthcare, business, energy analytics, ESG, and project management. He has a proven track record in leading large-scale projects, conducting impactful research, and delivering practical, data-driven solutions. He is an academic at the Tun Razak Graduate School, teaching and conducting research in AI, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, and Project Management. Previously, he held senior leadership roles and served as an academician at various institutions. He holds a B.Eng. and a PhD in Engineering from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). He is a Professional Engineer (Board of Engineers Malaysia), a Chartered Engineer (Engineering Council, UK), a Chartered Scientist (Science Council, UK), a European Engineer (FEANI), and a Professional Technologist (MBOT). His professional credentials include certifications in energy management, such as Registered Electrical Energy Manager and Certified Energy Manager (ASEAN Centre of Energy). He is also a Google-certified Professional Data Analyst and a Data Science Specialist from IBM, highlighting my expertise in analytics and data-driven decision-making. I have published extensively in international journals and at conferences, and I have served as a chair, editor, and committee member for academic events. Additionally, I have experience managing higher education programs and ensuring compliance with accreditation bodies, including MQA, EAC, ETAC, and MBOT.3
