Growth Marketing Lead (Akademi TVET UNIRAZAK)

Description

We are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and creative Growth Marketing Lead to drive the next phase of student and revenue growth for our TVET programmes at UNIRAZAK’s Kuala Lumpur campus. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, understands youth and adult learner personas, and knows how to deploy marketing and sales tactics that convert interest into student enrolment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the marketing strategy focused on growing the student base and revenue for TVET programmes, particularly at the Kuala Lumpur main campus.
  • Define and refine learner personas and customer journeys to create compelling, relevant messaging across all channels.
  • Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns, including:
    • Sales promotions, limited-time offers, fee waivers, or bundled packages.
    • Digital marketing (social media, paid ads, SEO, and email funnels).
    • Offline marketing such as roadshows, campus events, and partner outreach.
  • Collaborate with academic, operations, and external partners to align messaging with industry-relevant TVET skill demands.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and emerging skill needs, and adapt messaging accordingly to appeal to career-focused learners.
  • Develop and execute growth experiments, track KPIs, and iterate quickly based on data.
  • Work closely with recruitment and admissions to improve funnel conversion at every stage—from interest to enrolment.
  • Provide monthly growth performance reports to the Senior Director, ATUR.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience in growth marketing, digital campaigns, or performance marketing (preferably in education or youth-centric sectors).
  • Strong understanding of TVET, skills-based learning, and future job trends in Malaysia.
  • Excellent knowledge of student enrolment behaviour, especially among B40, working adults, and school leavers.
  • Experience running A/B tests, sales promotions, and engagement campaigns.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, CRM platforms).
  • Fast learner and agile—able to quickly adjust strategy in line with shifting market or industry needs.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across departments.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in education marketing or private higher education.
  • Familiarity with TVET frameworks (e.g., NOSS, DSD) and government funding schemes.
  • Background in sales, telesales, or partnerships is a bonus.
