Synopsis

This course imparts knowledge to students about concepts of mathematics as well as applications of the concepts in solving problems related to the field of arts. This course introduces students to mathematical concepts and fundamentals required to solve problems such as numbers, polynomials, matrices, graphs and function, sequence and series and basic statistics.

Learning Outcomes

Explain mathematical concepts, terminology and notations;
Identify suitable mathematical calculations relevant to the problems;
Apply mathematical concepts and techniques in solving problems.
