This course should enable students to acquire the skill and knowledge of carrying out scientific research as an academic skills in the field of social sciences. This course will teach students critical thinking, literature search skills and methods of carrying out research and data analysis.

• Explain the characteristics of scientific research by formulating research problem, research question and research objective 
• Construct theoretical framework, research design, hypothesis and measurement instruments for data collection 
• Demonstrate validity and reliabiilty of measurement instrument, carry out data analysis and interpret conclusions from analysis outputs
