This course provides students with skills and knowledge about applying coaching models and techniques to improve professional practice, growth and strategies. Students will evaluate coaching models and techniques that focus on solutions, not problems. Students will be given an opportunity to plan, set goals, monitor progress and implement accountability strategies for professional growth or learning improvement.

• Discuss the philosophy and various coaching model for teacher/ student learning
• Demonstrate effective communication strategies for coaching and mentoring
• Propose plan, set goals and monitor progress of coaching and mentoring program with student/teacher
• Report on outcomes of an instructional coaching for professional/ learning improvement
