The course guides the students to the philosophical, historical, psychological and sociological foundations of curriculum; curriculum development, design, aims, goals, objectives, implementation & evaluation; curriculum issues and trends; instructional approaches, direct instruction, guided discovery instruction and pure discovery instructions; pedagogy and teaching models; and basic concepts of curriculum and instruction in TESL education.
