This course is designed to provide an understanding of human development. It discusses various theories, common processes and major influences in physical, cognitive and socio-emotional domains throughout the entire life span, ranging from conception to old age till death.

• Analyse concepts and theories of human development from scientific perspective in explaining behaviour and mental processes
• Construct a small-scale theoretical or field project related to childhood, adolescence, adulthood and/or ageing
• Apply APA style in writing research report or delivering presentation in developmental psychology
