The course introduces to students the importance of an effective Equity Investment and Financial Planning system in helping organisations define and achieve long-term and short-term investment goals. It explains and reinforces the concept that Equity Investment and Financial Planning is not a one-time supervisory event, but an ongoing process of planning, facilitating, assessing and improving individual and organisational performance in Equity investments. Attention will be given to the performance measurement in all equity investments. This course takes into consideration while providing Equity investments and financial planning the relationship between cognition, behaviour and result of the various investment tools and techniques.

• Discuss the importance of Equity Investment and Financial Planning and how organisational strategies are translated into equity investments
• Evaluate various approaches in planning equity investments
• Explain how an Equity investment and financial planning motivates investors to invest in equity shares
