This course is an extension of Financial Accounting III. The course reinforces the basic accounting knowledge and exposes students to understand the various groups of accounting ratios used to interpret business performance and limitations of financial analysis. This course covers advance level of financial reporting topics including leases, intangible assets, property plant and equipments.

• Compute and interpret figures contained in financial statements using ratio analysis.
• Identify the accounting treatment for assets in financial reporting, such as property plant and equipments and intangible assets.
• Classify and recognise for leases in financial reporting.
