This course will cover the history of psychology covering the topics from the ancient world, through the Rennaisance period, the early approaches of psychology, the major approaches in modern psychology and current state of psychology discipline.

• Explain Western, Eastern, and Islamic contributions to the historical development of psychology as a discipline
• Explain the epistemological issues of psychology as science
• Present in a scientific manner the significant events and figures that shape the discipline of psychology
