Synopsis

Human resource management encompasses the activities in organizations to organize human resources. As employees are the most important assets in every organization, effective ways of managing them is crucial. The subject is all about teaching students the various HR functions that include staffing, training and development, compensation, appraisal, employee rights and discipline, safety and health and HR related legal issues.

Learning Outcomes

Define HRM concepts and its terminology.
Describe all HRM functions.
Discuss the HRM concepts in hypothetical situations.
