Students will investigate the theory and practice of using power, analyzing personality traits, assessing conflict, improving communication techniques in problem solving with regards to appropriate strategies, tactics and goals in conflict resolution. This course will also focus on negotiation skills, mediation skills, and students will have an opportunity to explore environmental disputes involving conflicts among stakeholders.

• Describe the nature of conflict in society, groups, organisations and individuals.
• Propose solution pertaining interpersonal skills in managing group dynamics through a prsentation.
• Display appropriate techniques and practices of arbitration and mediation in third party intervention.
• Propose solution on ethical issues using morality and professionalism in negotiations.
