Synopsis

The course examines the students with the understanding of how the field of organizational development facilitates effective change management within a business context. The students are introduced to the subject of organizational development, which refers to the development of individuals, groups, areas of responsibility, control systems, incentives and various organizational variables. It examines the essential skills of the OD practitioner, changes management theories and processes, and explores the types of interventions and programs. The study of organizational development is also linked to change, which relates to the planning, initiating, monitoring ad following up actions in order to bring change in the organization.

  • Ability to analyze critical approaches to organizational analysis and diagnosis.​
  • Ability to identify interventions, activities and programs that can be utilised to effectively manage change
  • Ability to interpret organizational issues from various perspectives
