The course will introduce students to the art and science of teaching techniques through guidelines on developing lesson plan, instructional objectives and classroom teaching and learning presentation skills. Students will also acquire evaluative skills by developing checklist to measure teaching and learning performance thus enhancing the scientific methods, critical thinking and problem solving throughout the course span. The course ingrained communication, leadership and team skills through group activities and class participation.

• Explain the cognitive, behaviorist and humanistic approaches towards learning
• Demonstrate the four learning styles applicable in the classroom
• Integrate the different approaches and implement effective learning styles
• Develop and present an effective lesson plan with appropriate instructional objectives
