This course covers the history of testing, fundamentals of psychological testing and the process of test construction and standardization. This includes test conceptualization, item generation, scaling, scoring and analysis. It also describes various types of test norms, reliability and validity. Besides, students will learn the application of diverse psychological assessment applicable at various settings

• Describe the test development process and its application in various settings based on psychometric principles
• Demonstrate assessment-related activities to estimate psychometric properties of assessment tools
• Apply scientific and ethical principles when developing or adapting assessment tools, and administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological constructs
