This course will familiarize the students with the area of social psychology with is important in communication. It explores basic communication theory and the psychology of human interaction. The course examines the fundamental elements of human communication including self-awareness, perception, verbal and nonverbal messages, interpersonal communication and group communication.

• Explain the basic psychological concepts in communication
• Describe the link between communication strategies and basic psychology in human interaction 
• Explain the concepts and theories of psychology in the areas of persuasive communication
