A basic premise of holistic education is the belief that our lives have a meaning and purpose. The educational view emphasizes spiritual sensitivity as a universal human ability that needs to be developed through education. This course provides students with concepts and principles of spirituality in the educational framework. It gives students opportunity to challenge, compare and develop personal spiritual strengths to educate the young generation, hence provide their students with wholesome learning experiences.

• Discuss and present the meaning of spirituality and conceptual definition of spirituality in education
• Discuss on the concepts of wholeness, holiness, spiritual intelligence and human wellbeing in education
• Compare between spiritually supportive teachers, classroom and curriculum to student learning
• Review the “pedagogy of the soul” in fostering the learner spirituality in learning
