Study Skills are needed for Higher Education learning and this course prepares students to have a good footing to accelarate the learning process. The Study Skills course introduces the learners to the basic concepts and principles of learning and intelligences, functions and behavior required of students in the academic environment.

• Distinguish between different views of intelligence, different learning styles and to identify effective learning strategies and ways to adapt them.
• Describe personal time waster and justify on ways to manage time effectively.
• Explain on the different techniques on note taking and distinguish between different types of academic writing and research approaches.
