This course introduces the theories and the principles of total quality management and its use of quality techniques and tools as an implementation strategy for total quality. The key topics covered in this course include the total quality management for achieving organizational excellence, quality and global competitiveness, strategic management: planning and execution for competitive advantage, customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty, 7 QC tools, problem solving and decision making, SPC and Six Sigma.
