27th July 2021, Tuesday – Universiti Tun Abdul Razak held an online MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) signing ceremony with Yayasan Pendidikan Khalifah that looks into the upgrading and upskilling of Khalifah Model School’s teachers, cooperating in the development of teaching and learning materials as well as the establishment of a support centre for the teaching and learning professionals.
The honourable guests representing each institution were Prof. Dr, Alini Marzuki, Chairman, Yayasan Pendidikan Khalifah, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Norhani Mohidin, Trustee, Yayasan Pendidikan Khalifah, Datin Shomiriza Shomidon, Board of Director, Khalifah Model School, En. Amil Izham bin Hamzah, Chief Executive Officer, Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, YBhg. Prof. Datin Paduka Dr. Samsinar binti Md Sidin, Vice Chancellor, Universiti Tun Abdul Razak as well as En. Mohamed Fairuz bin Mohamed Noor, Chief Operating Officer, Universiti Tun Abdul Razak.
“We at UNIRAZAK are intrigued by what was expressed in Yayasan Pendidikan Khalifah’s Mission statement: to drive the transformation of society towards excellence in this world and the hereafter, using the Khalifah method – we could not agree more.,” YBhg. Prof. Datin Paduka Dr. Samsinar binti Md Sidin, Vice Chancellor, Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, stated.
“This MoU between UNIRAZAK and YPK covers various areas of cooperation such as the upgrading and upskilling of Khalifah Model School teachers, the establishing of a support centre for teaching and learning professionals, the sharing of expertise and knowledge in the education sphere as well as access to subject matter experts (SMEs) for advice and counselling,” YBhg. Prof. Datin Paduka Dr. Samsinar binti Md Sidin further added.
