UNIRAZAK has recently entered into a strategic partnership with Sekolah Tinggi Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (STKIP) ‘Aisyiyah Riau, Indonesia, through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU solidifies a framework for collaboration aimed at enhancing educational, research, and training programmes that will benefit both institutions.

The signing ceremony marks a significant step towards fostering mutual growth in academic exchanges, joint research initiatives, and development projects. Under this partnership, both UNIRAZAK and STKIP will explore various areas of collaboration, including student and staff exchange programmes, academic programmes cooperation, research and development collaborations, workshops, and training sessions, as well as publication exchanges. 

This partnership will serve as a platform to create opportunities for academic enrichment, allowing both institutions to exchange knowledge and resources, thereby contributing to the advancement of educational standards in the region. The initiative also strengthens the bonds between Malaysia and Indonesia in the field of higher education. 

In honour of the late Deputy Vice Chancellor of Research and Partnership, Prof. Benjamin Chan Yin Fah, who was a key contributor to the partnership, UNIRAZAK acknowledges his invaluable efforts and dedication to fostering academic growth. His vision and leadership were instrumental in shaping the foundation of this collaboration, and his contributions will leave a lasting legacy in the ties between the two institutions. 

By combining efforts, UNIRAZAK and SKTIP aim to provide their students with valuable international exposure and innovative learning experiences, positioning both institutions to play a pivotal role in shaping future educators and leaders in the global arena. 

The MoU is expected to unlock further avenues of cooperation and create a dynamic academic network that not only supports student and faculty development but also enhances the impact of research and education in the respective communities of Malaysia and Indonesia.
