UNIRAZAK strengthened its commitment to nation building and enabling higher education for all with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding offering 250 places per year in the one-year Foundation in Arts Scholarship Programme to army veterans’ children in the asnaf, B40 and M40 income categories. This opportunity will be open annually until 2026.
Encik Amil Izham Hamzah, Chief Executive Officer of UNIRAZAK and Major General Dato’ Dzulkarnain Bin Ahmad, Director General of JHEV ATM signed the memorandum, witnessed by the Deputy Minister of Defense, YB Dato’ Sri Ikmal Hisham Bin Abdul Aziz.
Also present were ATM Commander, General Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Hj. Affendi Buang, MinDef’s Deputy Secretary General (Management), Dr. Anis Bin Mahmud, member of UNIRAZAK Board of Director, YBhg Datuk Ab Latiff Abu Bakar, UNIRAZAK Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Datin Paduka Dr Samsinar Md. Sidin, MinDef staff, UNIRAZAK Senior Management and staff involved.
This strategic cooperation is also a sign of UNIRAZAK’s appreciation to Malaysia’s Heroes who have defended the country’s sovereignty and independence.
The Deputy Minister of Defense also presented laptops to new undergraduate degree students at the same event.
