The Bachelor of Arts (Leadership) (Honours) is designed to develop confident, people-centred leaders who can make a positive impact in organisations and the communities they serve. This programme is ideal for those currently working in the public or private sectors, as well as individuals aspiring to managerial or leadership roles who want to strengthen their leadership capabilities.
What sets this programme apart is its strong balance between theory and practice. Students are introduced to a wide range of leadership and management theories and models, which are brought to life through real-world case studies. This approach allows students to connect classroom learning with practical challenges and solutions faced by today’s organisations.
The programme aims to nurture future leaders with strong values, integrity, and the ability to inspire meaningful change. Students develop the mindset and skills needed to transform organisations from good to great, while remaining adaptable to the evolving demands of industry and the global environment. Through a multidisciplinary learning experience, students build creativity, critical thinking, innovation, and an open, forward-looking perspective.
Offered by TARSOG, the Bachelor of Arts (Leadership) (Honours) is a three-year, full-time programme delivered through coursework. In the final semester, students complete an internship and a research project with recognised public, government, or private-sector organisations. This experience allows students to integrate theory with practice while strengthening their leadership, managerial, and interpersonal skills in real workplace settings.
Throughout the programme, students actively participate in hands-on activities such as field trips, guest lectures, community development initiatives, annual dinners, talks, and recreational events. These experiences play an important role in shaping students’ character, professionalism, and leadership qualities, preparing them to work effectively and confidently across a wide range of organisations.
The programme aims to:
