The Diploma in Social Work prepares compassionate and capable individuals to make a meaningful impact in society. Students will explore a comprehensive curriculum that emphasises social justice, human rights, and community well-being. The programme focuses on promoting positive social change, strengthening social cohesion, and advancing the empowerment and liberation of vulnerable populations.
Through a blend of theory and hands-on learning, students will develop the confidence to advocate for better social outcomes and create real change. Practical experience is a core component of the diploma, with supervised placements in various social work settings. These placements allow students to apply their skills in real-world environments, working alongside professionals to address real social issues.
By the end of the programme, graduates will be prepared to contribute meaningfully to social work practice and serve as agents of positive change in society.
A Pass with at least credit in three (3) subjects or A Pass in 0-Level with at least Grade C in 3 subjects.
A Pass Level 3 in related field and a pass in SPM with at least credit in one (1) subject.
A Pass (Level 3, MQF) in related field and a pass in with at least credit in one (1) subject.
A Pass with at least Grade C (NGMP of 2.00) in one (1) subject
1 credit and 5 years related learning experience.
A Pass with at least Grade of Maqbul.
A Pass in Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in related field with minimum CGPA 2.00 or any other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
